I never thought this time or this day would come. I honestly thought I would never get married, I certainly hadn’t met anyone that I could picture having kids with, traveling, or being with forever. One night after talking to my dad about a current relationship I was in, and sharing all of the above, he told me it all would change.
‘when you meet the one, you’ll want to do all of those things. You’ll want to have his babies and share your life with him.’
Babies? No…no I’m happy with my pug and well, I still couldn’t see it….Until I met my Jamie.
I guess that’s why I’m still so so so excited and nervous about wedding dress shopping today. We’re getting married at the gorgeous Maravilla gardens next year in August and aside from Bella Swan and Edward Cullen’s wedding (yes, I’m 27 and I love all the twilights films) it couldn’t be more perfect. On a side note, have you seen the trailers for Breaking Dawn? It looks like a wedding from a fairy tale?! What are those things hanging down, flowers? It’s gorgeous. Though, I just can’t see myself with a vampire…I’m so team Jacob.
Tangent…ok back to my wedding…
So, I am really excited and I’m really hoping I don’t get all teary in the dressing room today (though it may just happen!) My mom and big sister will be there (missing the little sister today!) and who doesn’t love to play dress up? Even if I don’t find THE dress today, it’s going to be so much fun and I’m so excited. We’re really wedding dress shopping today? what? for me??
Speaking of weddings and since I know you want a little something to peak at, here’s Amanda and Matt’s wedding I got to second shoot with Nicole Angelo this last weekend in Temecula. It was a goooorrgeous venue and perfect day. They had a vineyard on the entire front and backside of the property, I’m tellin’ you; gorgeous!
