Baby Sprinkles | San Diego Event Photographer

My sister is expecting her 2nd baby boy this month. So, of course there was a baby shower. But being that Carter will be her 2nd boy, it’s only appropriate to have a Baby Sprinkle instead of a Baby Shower. A sprinkle is a smaller get together with fewer gifts…the mom-to-be is only sprinkled with gifts, instead of showered with them

I couldn’t help but laugh when she told me this.

‘So, if you have another boy…does he get a droplet?’

I told her I would make my salad and cupcakes. Well..I made the salad and after an attempt to make something that had a slight resemblance to a cupcake, I went ahead and bought them. Aren’t they so cute?

My mom made all of the decorations. All of them, by hand. She’s pretty creative. I’ve already recruited her to make a ton of things for my wedding one day.

My moms little animals, they’re so cute and so small!

So, when I said she made everything? She made everything. Those pots started out as new pots. My mom and stepdad aged them and gave them a whole new look. She found a mossy runner from Michaels, added some birds and moss to a plain wreath, and stuffed pots with flowers and vines.

My grandma sends Julia a mouse figurine for all holidays and special events. As you can imagine, Julia has a pretty big collection of them! The little critters get to come out for holidays, I think the Christmas ones are my faves.
