Tiana | Temecula Senior Session

Tiana is my recent senior from TVHS and she is one of the most unique seniors I’ve ever met. She has a clear sense of self and confidence. I loved shooting her. She wanted a bit of a warm/field look. We started out in downtown and moved into a gorgeous spot for the last part of our shoot. It was definitely one of my favorite shoots ever. At the last part of our shoot, I was telling Tiana how people often ask me if I only shoot gorgeous people.

    Well, here’s the proof; yes.:)

    A little Marley, of course.

Love this one!!! Looooove! Doesn’t she have a bit of an Ali Larter look?

    Beautiful work!!!

    We’re ENGAGED!!!

This last weekend served as a celebratory weekend, instead of our 3 year anniversary celebration with My Jamie. Little known to me, we would be celebrating our new engagement!

Yes, we are now engaged!!!!!:D  :!:D

Jamie surprised me last week (today) and asked me to marry him in the most perfect way. He even called my sister to photograph the whole thing!:)It was perfect, and I was completely surprised. I had an idea it was going to happen soon, since he had been dropping torturous hints like crazy, but that didn’t stop me from saying ‘are you serious’ about a gazillion times.

We celebrated with wine tasting, dinner at a great new place in Old Town Temecula, and location hunting.

We found one great spot that I will definitely use for some future shoots, I especially loved the trees..

We took a minute to grab a picture of just us, since, well…we hadn’t had one the whole weekend!

I propped the camera up on a rock and we got this one!

    So so happy:)

Congrats! I already saw this on your sister’s blog a few days ago! :) Oh and I love that location! Really pretty with the trees! :)

    3 years ago today…

I began a pen pal relationship with him.

The last person I would ever go on a date with, the first person I think of when I wake up, and the man I look at and think ‘I really hope our (future) kids have his curly hair, greenish-brown eyes, and dance moves’. Which is years, and years away , but I still look at him and think how cute he’ll be miniature….a few years from now:)

    Oh he makes me laugh

Happy Thursday! And happy anniversary to us:)

Baby Sprinkles | San Diego Event Photographer

My sister is expecting her 2nd baby boy this month. So, of course there was a baby shower. But being that Carter will be her 2nd boy, it’s only appropriate to have a Baby Sprinkle instead of a Baby Shower. A sprinkle is a smaller get together with fewer gifts…the mom-to-be is only sprinkled with gifts, instead of showered with them:)

I couldn’t help but laugh when she told me this.

‘So, if you have another boy…does he get a droplet?’

I told her I would make my salad and cupcakes. Well..I made the salad and after an attempt to make something that had a slight resemblance to a cupcake, I went ahead and bought them. Aren’t they so cute?

My mom made all of the decorations. All of them, by hand. She’s pretty creative. I’ve already recruited her to make a ton of things for my wedding one day. :)

So, when I said she made everything? She made everything. Those pots started out as new pots. My mom and stepdad aged them and gave them a whole new look. She found a mossy runner from Michaels, added some birds and moss to a plain wreath, and stuffed pots with flowers and vines.

My grandma sends Julia a mouse figurine for all holidays and special events. As you can imagine, Julia has a pretty big collection of them! The little critters get to come out for holidays, I think the Christmas ones are my faves.

I can’t remember what was so funny, but I love this image:)
