Logan | Mission Inn Hotel Portrait Session

It’s not often that I get to photograph a young guy.

Typically guys aren’t excited about having their picture taken, much less go out for a full blown photoshoot – but this wasn’t an every day portrait session. Then you meet someone as cute (yes I said it!) as Logan, and you think ‘wahoo!’

Logan’s an aspiring model and we had the opportunity to work together with his mom for his portrait session in Riverside. It was a super windy day in downtown riverside, the one great thing about it? No long hair to worry about! This was Logan’s very first time behind the camera for any kind of organized shoot and it was so much fun, and he was so easy going. There were a few moments of crack ups, which I love…you’ll see!!:)

Here is Logan’s Riverside session  :)

One of a few crack up moments!

A little love for mom to complete the day!

Jessie & Brandon Married | San Diego Admiral Kidd Wedding

Ok, this post is looooong overdue. Long!! It’s from this summer of 2011!

Jessie & Brandon got married at the Admiral Kidd in Point Loma, a gorgeous skyline of downtown San Diego stood as the background to the ceremony. Jessie’s dress had a water-like flow to it, moving and flowing when she moved. I was in love with it, it was one of the most beautiful, classy, and fun weddings I have ever been to. I am so glad I had the opportunity to be 2nd shooting with Nicole Angelo this day.

The dancing at the end of the night had to be a favorite. The DJ was awesome and even grandma got out on the floor!!

    Here is Jessie & Brandon’s August 2011 wedding…

The skyline of San Diego makes such a gorgeous backdrop for a ceremony.
Instead of tossing her bouquet, Jessie decided to give it to her grandma.:)
Let the dancing begin! This was the MOST fun wedding I’ve shot thus far. I really didn’t want to leave. Such an awesome dance party!

Laura & Anneliese Sister Session | Encinitas Family Session

It’s not everyday that someone contacts you for a sister’s session. I was so excited when Laura told me of her ideas for a Christmas present for her parents, from her and her sister Anneliese. Both Laura and Anneliese are in college, so books and starbucks are a big part of their day to day lives. So…we had to have some props and make a stop at the library! I loved all the props Laura brought; books, notebooks, starbucks cups, and umbrellas with galoshes!

I couldn’t dwindle it down, I just had so many favorites!
