Ok, this was my very first photoshoot!! I was so excited to try out my new camera and so nervous with my own expectations and ideas I had for the day. I wanted everything to go perfectly, and was so glad to have Chad and Shawna as my first couple to shoot. But, as it turned out – it’s really easy with clients like these two.
After going to the same high school for the entire four years, Chad and Shawna didn’t actually start the beginning of their 9 year love until their high school trip in Hawaii. That was it. They were together ever since, through ups and downs, life’s challenges and blessings. They’re taking the next step in just a few months!! And after spending the day with them, you would think that they’re still in their honeymoon stage
I saw it when they talk to each other and with a simple touch. They are lovely to watch, and I am so happy they asked me to do their engagement photos. The date is set for September 25th, 2010 in beautiful Carmel Valley California. I can’t wait!!
We started in Santa Monica, and ran around to a few spots close by to get a TON of different images! I’m in love with them. I hope you will be, too.
