Cali Portrait Sneak Behind the Lens | San Diego Portrait Photographer

So, we had an impromptu shoot tonight while Cali was in town from Florida. While my sister lived in Florida, she lived in an awesome neighborhood and community. It seemed like everyone knew everyone and were so so friendly. Cali babysat for Coen and hadn’t met little Carter yet. Coen looooves his Cali, it’s so sweet – he is so happy getting to hang out with his girl:)She got to visit for the last week and just enjoy the California sun without the Florida Humidity, and we just had to take advantage of this gorgeous girl and those amazing blue eyes.

I thought I’d combine this sneak peak with a few before and afters along with my camera settings. I love seeing before and afters, and it had been a while since I last shared one.

Without further rambling, here is a sneak of Cali…

This is an image sooc (straight out of camera) without any edits in RAW. I always shoot in RAW and do any white balance adjustments there first, and then finish with minor adjustments in photoshop.

Just another angle, same settings, but this image and the last image has the RAW adjustments. I adjust the white balance if needed, but I always shoot in auto-white balance to get those rich blues and greens and then I’ll bring back the skin tone in post.

I’ve been wanting to use this pose for a while now and we had the perfect opportunity. Just had to move the trashcans out of the way:)

Amazing! You mean everything isn’t all Photoshop? :-) You are so talented as a photographer, though you are a great photoshopper when need be.
