I was so excited for this shoot. We were going to have TWO beautiful girls to work with at an awesome location. I had so many ideas and with my idea print outs in hand (yes, I print things out so I remember everything!) we were ready to go.
My mom has an awesome eye for props, and she’s always finding the most amazing things – so thanks to her we had this old yellow chair! And this was the perfect spot. Amanda brought A TON of outfits, and we had so many different looks especially since this location is so big with a ton of different hideaways.
I have one of my favorite shots ever from this shoot (two if you count Aline’s). Amanda is attending CSUSM and has such an awesome personality, she’s so friendly and I hope to work with her again one day soon!!![]()

Sometimes a picture just calls to be in black and white. I don’t do it very often, but this one was meant for it

No, it’s not an extreme camera tilt. She was actually laying on a very sideways-growing tree!
I loved that bokeh and how it just looked like she was hangin’ out – outside – while leaning on a tree!

FAAAAAVE!!! Oh I love this one!!!

I usually don’t use any reflectors and I never use my flash, but we played around a bit with a reflector during this shoot (as seen below). Always need to try new things!

There was an image I saw a while back and I had it in my mind to re-create with my next shoot. These branches and sticks made for the perfect setting for just such a thing.

Last images from the day! We moved to a spot with some water and took advantage of that last bit of light!
Doesn’t she just know how to work it or what?!

And ending on this funny shot. Amanda came prepared with everything! Multiple hats, shoes, dresses, and accessories. She found a few natural hooks on some trees as well! This was right before we moved to our last location for the day
Thanks Amanda! We had so much fun and you were awesome to work with!!

Come back in a few days for Aline’s session!!! I gave her shoot a totally different feel![]()
